On completion of this Working in Childcare course participants will be have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their work in a professional manner with both children and their parents either in a childcare environment or in the home. The aims are to promote good practice, equality of opportunity and respect for diversity of lifestyles , religion and culture in early years. This course is a mandatory module for the major award in Childcare.

Guardian Safety is a FETAC registered training provider and all are fully qualified Safety professionals having achieved Level 6 in the National Framework of Qualifications. All Course instructors hold a minimum of Train the Trainer qualification.

A Working in Childcare FETAC Level 5 component certificate is awarded to participants on successful completion of course.
Refresher Training / Certification Validity Period
DVD and lap/top projector are used. Notes on Occupational First Aid are available to all course participants.
