Fire Safety Training Course
The Fire Safety Training Course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including selecting and using the correct fire extinguisher. The course is also designed to train staff in your fire safety procedures.
How is the training deliverd
Participants can select their preferred attendance method, either participating online through Zoom or attending in person
Training Courses can also be delivered privately at your premises at any time.
Aim
The aim of this Fire Safty training course is to give participants the skills and confidence, to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including selecting and using the correct fire extinguisher. The course is also designed to train staff in your fire safety procedures.
Objectives
Course Content
- Overview of the Fire safety legislation
- Understanding the physics and chemistry of fire
- Development and spread of fire
- Action in the event of a fire
- Means of raising an alarm
- Means of summoning the fire brigade
- Action on hearing the fire alarm
- Evacuation procedures
- Practical demonstration in the use of foam and CO2 fire extinguishers.
Certification
On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate titled “Fire Safety Training” which will be awarded by Guardian Safety. This Cert will be valid for 3 years.
Prerequisets
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Number of Participants Per Course
The maximum number of users per course is 12.
