Safety Officer Training Course – (Occupational Health and Safety)

Our 2 Day Safety Officer Training (Occupational Health and Safety Training Course) is specifically designated for safety representatives, business owners, managers, supervisors, and those responsible for implementing and managing an H&S system.

This Safety Officer Training course will equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to carry out risk assessments and implement risk control measures in an office or service environment while under the general direction of a safety specialist. This Safety Officer Training Course has bee written and developed in line with the HSA guidelines. All employers are legally required to identify workplace hazards and assess and control associated risks to workers and others in the workplace. 

Course Duration

Safety Officer Training takes 2 days to complete (9.30 AM – 5.00 PM).

Method of Delivery

Safety Officer Training takes place ONLINE –  Live Videoconference via Microsoft Teams or ZOOM.

Successful Candidates will receive a Guardian Safety Certificate which is Valid for 4 years.

Guardian Safety will provide e-resource materials.

learners will receive 2 additional courses Free: Introduction to Risk Assessment & Workplace Health and Safety.

Entry Requirements / Access

learners will require a good level of English, both oral and written. The minimum standard required  for learners of whom English may not be their first language, or for those who have not completed primary or secondary education in English, is set at Level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language CEFRL.

Evidence of competence and certification to this standard can also be demonstrated by means of the following assessments:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – Minimum overall band score of 7.0

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – High Intermediate level required on 4 skills.0

5N1632 QQI Level 5 English as a Second Language
