Paediatric First Aid Training Course
Paediatric First Aid Training Course sets out to train participants on life saving skills in relation to children generally up to the age of 13. This course is designed to give participants, who have no previous experience of first aid with children, the required skills to deal with a first aid or medical emergency before professional help arrives.

Paediatric First Aid Training Course Content:
This course runs for 1 day. Learners will gain an insight into the following topics during two sessions:
Guardian Safety is a Paediatric First Aid registered training centre and all trainers are fully qualified in Paediatric First Aid, having achieved a Paediatric First Aid Qualification. All trainers hold a minimum of Train the Trainer qualification and are fully qualified safety practitioners holding a minimum of a Diploma Occupational Health and safety.
Assessment is on an ongoing basis during the course and participants will complete a quiz at the end of Session 1 to help highlight areas requiring revision during Session 2.
Paediatric First Aid Training Course is designed for parents, registered child minders and caregivers, along with school teachers – including staff involved in crèche, nursery and Montessori facilities, as well as those involved in junior and primary education.
A ‘Paediatric First Aid Training Course’ Certificate will be awarded to participants once they have successfully completed the course.
Refresher training is recommended at intervals not greater than 3 years.
