Course Content: This Emergency First Aid Training Course is suitable for anyone who might have to respond to emergencies in the home, workplace, or in the community. This emergency first aid training course will also enable learners to act as a back up to qualified Occupational First Aiders in the workplace. Participants will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to use a range of practical basic first aid skills which will enable them to deal competently and confidently with common injuries and illnesses. Learners will also be trained in the basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and the action to take in the event of a person choking.

Guardian Safety Trainers: Guardian Safety is a FETAC registered training provider and all our trainers are fully qualified Occupational First Aid Instructors registered with OFAAA (The Occupational First Aid Assessment Agent)

Who Should Attend: Anyone who wishes to train and be certified in Emergency First Aid.
Assessment: This is a highly interactive course with emphasis on practice and demonstration. Learners are continually assessed throughout the day.
Certification: An Emergency First Aid Certificate will be awarded on completion.
Certification Validity Period: 2 Years
Training Methodology: Our training includes both practical and interactive learning, giving all participants the confidence and ability to put theory into practice and to cope with real-life situations that might arise in the workplace, home, or in the community. Our Emergency First Aid Training Course Instructors have years of real-life practical experience in emergency care services and tutoring all levels of learners for all types of backgrounds.
