This Safety & Health at Work Training course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment for employees in compliance with the safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

Guardian Safety Trainers

Guardian Safety is a QQI registered training Provider and all instructors are fully qualified trainers having achieved Level 6 in the national Framework of Qualifications. All course instructors are qualified safety practitioners and hold a minimum of Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

Who Should Attend

This Safety & Health at Work is designed for those working at management or supervisory level in any type of business or those who are self employed and safety committee members.

This course is also a mandatory module for the Level 5 Certificate in Community Care and also for the Level 5 Certificate in Security Studies 

Assessment

Assessment is by means of two assignments which participants will be expected to carry out in their own time and also by written examination.

• Examination (Theory-Based) 40%

QQI Level 5 Safety & Health At Work Course Certification

A “Safety & Health at Work QQI Level 5” Certificate is awarded to participants on successful completion of this course.

Refresher Training & Certification Validity Period

It is recommended that training be refreshed at intervals not greater than 3 years.
