Manual Handling Course

Are you interested in enrolling onto a manual handling course? Welcome to Guardian Safety, we have been providing our clients with a wide range of training courses for many years now. Guardian Safety is a FETAC registered training provider and all of our instructors are fully qualified manual handling trainers, having achieved Level 6 in the National Framework of Qualifications – so you know you are in safe hands.

Our manual handling courses are designed to provide the attendees with a thorough understanding of manual handling. They aim to ensure that everyone understands the common hazards in their industry and how to reduce the risk of injury from these hazards. All of the knowledge you will gain from these courses will help you stay safe when carrying out various day-to-day manual handling tasks.

Here at Guardian Safety, our manual handling courses are perfect for any staff members that engage in manual handling activities such as lifting, carrying, pulling or pushing within their role. They must be given training in the safe moving of loads, in order to comply with Part 4 Chapter 2 of the ‘’General Application Regulation 2007, Manual Handling of Loads’’. The course will include a theory test, followed by a practical assessment and each participant that completes the course will be awarded a Guardian Safety certificate. Once you have completed this course we recommend that you undertake refresher training at intervals no greater than 3 years.

We pride ourselves on the high quality of our training and no matter which manual handling course you undertake we can assure you that everything you learn will be correct and up-to-date. With over 9 different manual handling courses to choose from, we are sure that you will find the correct one for your industry and that will benefit your company most.
