We have launched our new online training portal which offers full Manual Handling Certification

Online Manual Handling Training is an awareness course designed to teach learners how to identify hazardous manual handling activities in the workplace and to asses the risk they present to the employee. Our course takes a preventative approach to managing manual handling in the workplace.

Manual handling, or to be accurate, incorrect manual handling, is one of the most common causes of injury at work, it is estimated that one-third of workplace accidents that result in lost time is a direct result of manual handling activities. To try and combat manual handling problems, the Manual Handling Operations Regulations were introduced. These are based on EEC Directives in both UK and Ireland.

Online Manual Handling Training will go a long way to giving you greater awareness of the dangers that hazardous manual handling poses, as well as covering safe handling techniques, practical solutions to manual handling issues and the use of mechanical aids.

This is an awareness course only and does not include a practical session if you would like to complete a practical session this can be arranged by attending our public course or virtual classroom held via Zoom. There is an additional price of €30 per person to complete a practical session.
