The Construction Regulations 2006 state that staff working on construction sites or are involved in works that qualify as construction projects under the regulations. Have to undergo basic Health & Safety training. This training takes place in the form of a Safe Pass Course.
Safe Pass Course Objective:
After completing this Course, participants will have a greater appreciation and understanding of the workplace hazards associated with working on construction sites and how accidents can be avoided.

- Accident reporting and prevention

- Excavations, confined spaces, underground and overhead services

Who Should Attend a Safe Pass Course: This Safe pass course is intended for construction workers, local authority workers, contractors, scaffolders, craft workers, on-site security personnel, including students, apprentices and seasonal workers.
Course Assessment: Theory Test
When will i need to Renew my Training: 4 years
Additional Information: DVD and laptop/projector presentation are used.
Safe Pass Course Certification: At the end of the course, we will issue a letter of completion to all participants, this letter can be given as evidence to employers until Safe Pass cards are issued to participants by Solas.
Special Instructions For This Course: This course is run in English and a good understanding of the language is expected from participants. (Courses can be run in other languages by prior arrangement if all participants speak the same language)
Mandatory Requirement: Participants must bring their PPS number and a recent passport photograph on the day. (Those who do not bring passport photographs may purchase 4 on the day at an additional cost of €6 – photo booth).
